Sewing Tips: Blog Post Number One - How to use a seam ripper!

Any one us who love to sew, equally hate to seam rip, especially when the stitches are very very small.   Sigh.   However, I am actually excited for my next rip job after watching the following video on Youtube....How to really use your seam ripper! Loved this video!

I think I am a girl of the Limberlost at heart.  I love exploring and I loved reading Gene Stratton-Porter's lovely novels about the swamp.  Freckles, was perhaps my favorite - no possibly, Keeper of the Bees. 

When I saw this apron, I was enamored.  It immediately made me think of the Limberlost. It was something about it's whimsy, I think. 

Are you a girl of the Limberlost at heart? Do you love the great outdoors, nature, and beauty? 

Or maybe you just love Gene Stratton-Porter's romantic novels? This vintage apron is a garment worthy of Elnora, and I think this  heart necklace is charmingly symbolic of the love that the Limberlost swamp inspires.
